There are shortcuts to happiness and dancing is one.

Back in the early 1980s I was very fortunate to live the amazing and unforgettable days of Studio 54 and to get to know many inspiring artists, dancers and visionaries. When I came back to Zurich, I started the Vollmond parties until I could take over the clubs Puff and Big Apple, which was the beginning of TANZGARAGE.
 

2011 has marked the beginning of my worldwide journeys to the Burning Man and affiliated events. At each event, I have experienced so much love, inspiration and found so many new amazing friends. Someone I met at Burning Man once said that when we dance, it creates roots, which continuously intertwine. Dancing connects us in a way we might not be able to see but definitely feel.
 

In my life, I have learned that it is imperative to never forget to dance through life and to enjoy each step along the way. So why not promote dancing just for the sake of happiness with the value of radical humanity? Let us have fun together, feel good, be kind, love more, do better, express ourselves and inspire others in positive ways!
 

My goal is to initiate a movement to promote parties free of alcohol and drugs (we do not need to pretend to be someone else), where people of different ages, culture and social status dance and connect together to have fun, abandon themselves recklessly, exercise, get inspired and energized.
